Wide-area temperature monitoring system for important buildings

We can handle vast areas with ease! We provide continuous temperature information 24 hours a day! Integration with various alarm systems is also possible!

In recent years, there have been many tragic incidents where important cultural properties designated by the government have been lost due to fires and other disasters. Among the buildings that have been lost, there are techniques that cannot be reproduced with current technology, and once they are lost, there are important elements that can never be regained. However, it is extremely difficult for people to remain vigilant for signs of fire 24 hours a day, and even a small oversight can lead to serious accidents. A wide-area temperature system using optical fibers can monitor the entire area where cables are laid, capturing conditions in places that are often difficult for the human eye or cameras to reach. Our system can detect abnormal temperatures before the thermal decomposition of materials that can ignite, allowing for quicker detection of anomalies and helping to protect the user's valuable assets. The cables we propose can be customized in color to match various buildings and objects, allowing for consideration of the landscape without disruption. If you have any interest after reading this page, we would be happy to provide further explanations, so please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you very much for your consideration.

Permanent monitoring system for submarine power cables for offshore wind power generation facilities.

Monitoring cable temperature, stress load, and burial depth all at once, unaffected by weather or environmental conditions, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Actively being implemented in Europe!

In recent years, as the power generation business using renewable energy has become more active, the introduction of offshore wind power generation facilities is also progressing rapidly. Power generation equipment is designed to operate for an average of 20 to 30 years, making annual and constant maintenance extremely important. Among these, the power cables buried on the seabed have limited methods for continuous monitoring, and sometimes these methods are not fully effective. The optical fiber-based information system that our company handles can establish a continuous monitoring system without the need to attach additional sensors to the cables, even for existing equipment, by utilizing communication fibers attached to the target cables. Based on the information obtained from the optical fibers, we provide management of cable burial depth, temperature information, stress load information, and load information on the wires, contributing to the health and longevity of the cables. Additionally, since distance information can also be obtained from the optical fibers, it is possible to detect abnormal locations with high accuracy in the event of an anomaly. This can also reduce the time required to confirm abnormal locations using conventional ROVs.

Monitoring system for the reduction degree of equipment using optical fiber.

A fiber neural network that monitors equipment! It continuously observes the fatigue levels of critical equipment 24/7, capturing signs of potential accidents in detail!

In recent years, various fuels have been used as energy for production. These can be single fuels or mixed fuels. In such cases, when a new fuel is used, there is a tendency to overlook warning signs regarding phenomena that were previously thought to be problem-free based on past experiences. Additionally, there may be unforeseen events, such as the internal wall thinning occurring at a faster rate than expected. Our products utilize optical fibers to monitor the temperature of the entire equipment, allowing for detailed detection of hotspots on the equipment surface caused by internal wall thinning, thereby contributing to the safe and secure operation of the equipment. Since the sensors use optical fibers, there is no need for explosion-proof measures based on environmental conditions, as is the case with traditional thermocouples. Furthermore, because they can capture the entire equipment area, they enable more detailed monitoring compared to spot monitoring. By using a dedicated GUI, the equipment can be displayed in greater detail, making it easy to see where and what kind of behavior is occurring, which can also serve as a guideline for repairs during scheduled maintenance.

Large-scale area monitoring system for solar power plants and energy storage facilities.

Continuous monitoring of a super-wide area for 24 hours! The location of any anomalies can be identified instantly from the screen information!

In recent years, among renewable energy generation facilities, solar power plants have been expanding in scale. However, as the scale increases, management becomes very difficult, and incidents such as the theft of power cables are occurring frequently. Additionally, since these areas are usually not accessed by people, detecting abnormalities is very challenging. Our products using optical fibers can maintain the entire facility by monitoring both temperature and displacement. For example, it is possible to continuously monitor the status of lithium batteries 24/7 using temperature information obtained from the optical fibers, while also monitoring the condition of the panels simultaneously. Monitoring over several tens of kilometers per channel is possible, and with the ability to pinpoint location information within a few meters, it aids in identifying abnormal areas and offers excellent cost performance. Furthermore, by conducting displacement measurements using DAS, it is possible to quickly identify when people intrude into the vicinity or when abnormal loads occur on cables, allowing for immediate alerts and enabling quicker actions to protect customer assets.
